Where to stay, what to do, where to eat: Cartagena de Indias, Colombia

I honestly can’t wait to get on a plane again. Now, more than ever I have a huge desire to travel somewhere to discover new cultures and cuisines.

Last year I visited Cartagena, Colombia twice. I liked it so much the first time, I had to go back. I felt in love with the people, the food, the culture, the colors, and the music. Colombians are filled with joy and enthusiasm for life, and you can feel it when you visit Cartagena.

Everywhere you go you can see people dancing and enjoying life. The colors and flowers that are seen when you walk the streets of the city make you appreciate the simple things in life, I couldn’t stop taking pictures of every door and building.

And the food is simply amazing, you can find a variety of local and international cuisines in every budget.
