This super refreshing Italian spritz is my go-to drink all year round. It consists of prosecco, Aperol and soda water.
Aperol is an infusion of herbs and roots with two of its most distinctive flavours being oranges and rhubarb. It's also a very light liqueur, its alcohol content is only 11%.
While many believe the 3:2:1 method is the way to go, I prefer to add a little more prosecco and a little less Aperol.
Ingredients:
3 ounces of Prosecco
1 ounce of Aperol
Splash of Soda Water
Orange wedge and peel, for garnish
Ice cubes
Directions:
Fill a tall balloon glass or wine glass with ice.
Add the Aperol, followed by the prosecco and soda water.
Mix and garnish with orange wedge and peel.
